Pour the contents of the sachet into 100 ml of water or plant-based milk and mix well or blend. You can also add it to smoothies, bowls, porridges, or other favorite meals and drinks. 

For a smooth and fluffy consistency, we recommend using our portable blender. 

Pregnant and breastfeeding women should be mindful of certain ingredients, particularly caffeine from matcha and certain adaptogens such as ashwagandha.  We recommend consulting with your healthcare provider to consider all health aspects. 

Frutcha contains caffeine from matcha green tea, and some flavors also include guarana: Pregnant and breastfeeding women should limit caffeine intake. Recommendations from experts, including the World Health Organization (WHO) and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), set the maximum safe caffeine intake for pregnant women at approximately 200 mg per day. Frutcha contains between 18 and 49 mg of caffeine per serving, which is a moderate amount, but women should monitor their total caffeine intake from other sources.

Frutcha contains adaptogens (e.g., ashwagandha): Some Frutcha products include adaptogens such as ashwagandha, which may influence hormonal balance. Although some studies suggest adaptogens may have positive effects, the safety of ashwagandha and other adaptogens during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been sufficiently proven. Therefore, consulting a doctor is recommended before consumption.

Frutcha Energy does not contain guarana or ashwagandha.

In general, drinks containing caffeine or guarana are not recommended for children.  We recommend consulting with your healthcare provider to consider all health aspects.  Frutcha is made from purely natural ingredients, such as fruit and superfoods, without artificial additives or preservatives. Thanks to freeze-dried fruit and natural ingredients like matcha and acerola, Frutcha provides vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that can support health and immunity. 

It is important to consider the individual needs and age of the child, particularly the matcha content, which contains caffeine. Europe does not have unified limits for safe caffeine intake in children, but the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has issued recommendations often used as a reference. According to EFSA, the safe daily caffeine intake for children and adolescents is set at 3 mg of caffeine per kilogram of body weight.

For example, for a child weighing 20 kg, the maximum recommended daily caffeine intake would be 60 mg. For comparison, a cup of black tea contains approximately 40-50 mg of caffeine, while a cup of green tea, including matcha, contains around 25-35 mg, depending on the preparation method. Due to its higher caffeine content, children should avoid Frutcha Power.

As with other substances, parents should be cautious about caffeine intake in children, especially younger ones, and aim to minimize their exposure to caffeine. It is also important to monitor the overall caffeine intake from various sources, such as beverages, chocolate, and certain foods.
