Frequently Asked Questions

Who is Frutcha Kick for?

Frutcha Kick is designed for everyone who seeks an organic way to quickly wake up, energize, and gain long-lasting energy. Ideal for active individuals who want a healthy alternative to traditional energy drinks while supporting metabolism, immunity, and overall well-being.

How to prepare Frutcha correctly?

Pour the contents of the sachet into 100 ml of water or plant-based milk, and mix well or blend. You can also add it to smoothies, bowls, porridge, or other favorite foods and drinks.

For a smooth and fluffy consistency, we recommend using our portable blender.

Is Frutcha suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women?

For pregnant and breastfeeding women, it is important to pay attention to some ingredients, especially caffeine from matcha and some adaptogens such as ashwagandha. We recommend consulting use with the treating doctor who will consider all health-related aspects.

Frutcha contains caffeine from green tea matcha and some flavors also contain guarana: Pregnant and breastfeeding women should limit their caffeine intake. Expert recommendations, including the World Health Organization (WHO) and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), set the maximum safe caffeine intake for pregnant women at approximately 200 mg per day. Frutcha contains between 18 and 49 mg of caffeine per serving, which is a moderate amount, but women should monitor their total caffeine intake from other sources.

Frutcha contains adaptogens (e.g., ashwagandha): Some Frutcha products contain adaptogens like ashwagandha, which could affect hormonal balance. While some studies suggest that adaptogens may have positive effects, the safety of ashwagandha and other adaptogens during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been fully proven. Therefore, it is recommended to consult with a doctor before using them.

Is Frutcha suitable for children?

In general, children should not be given drinks containing caffeine or guarana.  We recommend consulting use with the treating doctor, who will consider all health-related aspects. Frutcha is made from pure natural ingredients like fruit and superfoods, with no artificial additives or preservatives. Thanks to the freeze-dried fruit and natural ingredients like matcha and acerola, Frutcha provides vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that can support health and immunity.

It is important to take into account the individual needs and age of the child, for example, the matcha content, which contains caffeine. There are no unified limits in Europe for the safe intake of caffeine in children, but the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has issued recommendations that are often used as a basis. According to EFSA, the safe daily caffeine dose for children and adolescents is set at 3 mg of caffeine per kilogram of body weight.

This means that for a child weighing 20 kg, the maximum recommended daily caffeine dose would be 60 mg. For comparison, a cup of black tea contains approximately 40-50 mg of caffeine, while a cup of green tea, including matcha, contains about 25-35 mg, depending on the preparation method. From the stronger Frutcha flavors, children should avoid Frutcha Power, which has the highest caffeine content.

As with other substances, parents should be cautious with caffeine intake in children, especially younger children, and try to minimize their exposure to caffeine. It is also important to monitor the total caffeine intake from various sources, such as drinks, chocolate, and some foods.

Is it made only from natural ingredients?

Yes, Frutcha is truly made from 100% natural ingredients, with a strong emphasis on quality and traditional methods. The matcha used in Frutcha comes from a traditional ceremonial harvest in the south of Japan, where each leaf is handpicked and processed using proven methods to preserve all the nutritional values. This careful process not only brings rich flavor but also a high content of antioxidants and other beneficial substances. Moreover, the fruit in Frutcha drinks undergoes a freeze-drying process, which is an advanced and very gentle preservation method that retains up to 98% of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals. This way, the fruit maintains its original freshness, taste, and color, while ensuring that each Frutcha product is maximally nutritious and entirely natural.

Where does the bio matcha in Frutcha come from?

Our quality bio matcha comes from Kagoshima, renowned for its top-quality tea. The farm is located in a mountainous area where cold conditions support organic farming. The plants are shaded before harvest and then traditionally processed to achieve the highest ceremonial quality and uniquely delicate flavor. Want to learn more about this area?
